Questions, answered
Do you need my social media passwords?
No. When you connect an account, the platform’s own sign-in page opens in a secure window and you sign in yourself. Postwave keeps only the signed-in session, never your password, and uses it only to publish what you ask it to.
Which platforms and formats are supported?
Videos (MP4, MOV, WebM up to 1 GB) and photos (JPG, PNG, WebP), one at a time or up to 20 together. Each platform gets what it takes: Instagram: a Reel, a photo, or a carousel of up to 20 photos and videos. LinkedIn: one video or up to 20 photos. X: one video or up to 4 photos. YouTube: videos and Shorts, and photos as a Community post. TikTok: videos (TikTok only allows photo posts from its app). Postwave shows you exactly what goes where before you post.
What happens if a post fails?
Postwave retries automatically. If it still can’t publish, for example because an account was logged out, you get a clear reason, an email and a one-tap Retry once it’s fixed.
Where do the analytics come from?
From each platform’s public counts on your posts and profiles, collected every few hours. Some platforms hide certain numbers (for example views on some posts), so those show as a dash.
How do I pay, upgrade or cancel?
Plans start from ₦1,000 a month, paid by card, bank transfer or USSD through Flutterwave. Pay by card and your plan can renew automatically (switch it off any time); otherwise we email and notify you when it’s time to renew. Upgrading mid-month? You only pay the difference for the days left, and your renewal date stays the same. Moving to a smaller plan happens at your next renewal.
Will posting through Postwave hurt my reach?
Your post is uploaded the same way you would upload it yourself, as a native video on each platform, not a link. Posting consistently is the best thing for reach, and that’s what Postwave makes easy.
