Privacy Policy
Last updated 7 November 2026
This policy explains what Postwave (a service of Epulse, epulse.ng) collects and why. We collect only what we need to run the service, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email, a securely hashed password, time zone and preferences.
- Connected account sessions: when you sign in to a social platform through Postwave, the browser session for that platform (cookies) is kept on our server so we can post for you. We never see or store your social media passwords.
- Your uploads and captions: stored until they have been published, then the media file is deleted after 7 days (a small thumbnail is kept so your dashboard makes sense).
- Performance numbers: public counts such as views, likes, comments, shares and followers for the posts and profiles you connect.
- Payments: handled by Flutterwave. We receive the amount, status and reference, never your card number. If you pay by card, Flutterwave gives us a secure token (not your card details) so your plan can renew automatically; turn auto-renew off any time and the token is no longer used.
- Push notifications: if you switch them on, your browser gives us an address to send notifications to that device; switch them off and it is deleted.
- Technical logs: IP address and device type for security, limited to what we need to stop abuse.
How we use it
To publish your posts, show your analytics, send receipts, reminders and alerts about your posts, keep the service secure, and answer support requests.
Who we share it with
The social platforms you choose (that’s the point of the service), Flutterwave for payments, your browser’s push service for notifications you switched on, and our email provider for messages to you. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
Where it’s kept
On servers we control, with access limited to the people who run Postwave. Connected sessions are deleted the moment you disconnect an account or delete your Postwave account.
Your rights
You can see and change your details in Settings, disconnect any account, and delete your account and everything in it at any time. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
